Privacy

This page describes what we store and which third parties may see data when you use AlphaSignal.

What we store

If you create an account we store your username, email, password hash, and optional MFA secret. Favorites in My Top are saved to your account. We do not sell personal information.

Browser storage

A sign-in token may be kept in your browser (localStorage) so you stay logged in. You can sign out to clear it.

Market data providers

Scores, prices, filings, and headlines come from public or licensed sources (for example SEC, Yahoo Finance, FRED, Finnhub). Your browser may request those pages when you open an outbound link.

Public Reddit titles

When enabled, we fetch public subreddit listings through Reddit’s official API (OAuth). We store post id, subreddit, title, permalink, time, and optional score/comment counts — not usernames, not post bodies, not comments. Ticker pages show the title and a link to Reddit. Mentions are not used to rank stocks.

Advertising cookies

Third-party ad cookies are not loaded until a publisher id is configured. This site may still use essential cookies or local storage for sign-in.

Analytics

Google Analytics is not loaded until a measurement id is configured. Page-view analytics stay off by default.
